Heather's Regency Gown
I made this dress several years ago as a Halloween costume for my sister, and it's held up well over the years as a go-to regency gown for any events. The bodice is drafted from Period Costume for Stage and Screen by Jane Hunnisett, and the skirt is just two straight panels of fabric gathered into the waistband. It has a drawstring neckline and closes with a hook and bar in the back. Cute, easy, and comfy.
