Might fall under the Nerdy Things category, but I did try to be historically accurate with this one.
A cosplay for Polaris 23 in Toronto, my friend and I dressed as the Eighth Doctor and Charlotte Pollard, an expanded universe companion from the 1920s.
The dress is made from Rayon crepe and modeled off a modern Vogue pattern I found in a similar style. The pleats in the back of the skirt took forever to do, but they turned out great and I love the feel and look of them. The tie at the front is a vintage crepe de chine scarf I received as a gift from a friend, and the broach was my great-grandmother's.
