One of the things about being a lone costumer amongst your friends is that you end up making a lot of costumes to convince friends to come to events with you! This was a very quick project, entirely draped, for my best friend for the Great Gatsby Picnic at Spadina House Museum. The collar actually belonged to my great-aunt, and was the starting point for the dress. It has a centre front contrast panel with tucks, and box pleating in the skirt back. She's wearing it with my great-grandmother's hat and gloves.
